Through the Law Society of Upper Canada’s Practice Mentoring Initiative, Dianne Prupas has agreed to act as mentor to an associate in the Toronto office of an international law firm. Dianne’s experience working in firms with an international presence and with junior lawyers and articling students facing new challenges as they embark on their career in law, makes her ideally suited to the role. She finds it rewarding to be of service to the broader legal community.
The Law Society of Upper Canada’s Practice Mentoring Initiative connects lawyers with experienced practitioners in relevant areas of law to help them deal with a complex substantive legal issue or a specific procedural issue outside of the Law Society’s Practice Management Helpline mandate. These mentors are available to assist young associates in various areas of law, which include: Corporate/Commercial, Bankruptcy and Insolvency, Employment and Labour Law, Environmental Law, Real Estate Law, Estates Law, Family Law, Immigration Law, Criminal Law, and Civil Litigation.
