Sawyer Peloso is a junior lawyer developing a broad practice in numerous areas of law including corporate and commercial, bankruptcy and insolvency, banking and finance, tax and real estate.
Sawyer Peloso received his law degree from the University of Toronto in 2023, and completed his articling at an international, full-service law firm in Toronto where he worked on a broad array of matters in banking, tax, and corporate and commercial law. During his articling, he also completed a secondment at Metrolinx where he worked on a number of procurement, infrastructure, and real estate matters.
While at law school, Sawyer was actively involved in many different endeavours. He was a finalist in the UofT Internal Hockey Arbitration Competition and the UOttawa Copyright Policy Moot. He was also senior editor for the UofT Journal of Law and Equality and helped with organizing and running the UofT Law Peer Mentorship Program.
Prior to law school, Sawyer obtained a Bachelor in Health Sciences from McMaster University, graduating on the Dean’s Honours List. He also obtained a Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto, and worked in physical therapy prior to making the transition to law.
