GSNH’s Robert Drake successfully litigated the following case: Thyssenkrupp Elevator (Canada) Inc. v. 1147335 Ontario Inc., 2015 ONSC 503 (CanLII) (Ont. S.C.J.).
Robert represented Thyssenkrupp Elevator who was suing the owners of five related apartment buildings for unpaid maintenance fees in an amount just over $122,000. The owners counterclaimed for $1,000,000. He was successful at trial, and the counterclaim was dismissed in full.
The owners then brought a motion to oppose confirmation of the Master’s report and Robert was successful in opposing that motion.
